How to: Use your Photoshop eyedropper outside of Photoshop
  1. Select the eyedropper tool.
  2. Hold down the alt key (pc) (should be the command tool on the mac but haven't checked this yet).
  3. Click somewhere on an open file in Photoshop - but do not release the mouse button or the alt button.
  4. Move your mouse (with the mouse and alt button still depressed) over to the spot you want to sample. As you drag your mouse you will see the foreground swatch in Photoshop keep changing to pick up the colors you are mousing over.

Looks like I'm taking a trip to Buffalo
Just announced: The Buffalo Sabres will play the Pittsburgh Penguins on New Year's Day 2008 OUTDOORS in Ralph Wilson stadium, home to the Buffalo Bills. The capacity is 74,000. Incredible!

Hi, I'm Zach. I grew up in Fort Wayne, Indiana and graduated from Wake Forest. After college, I moved to Manhattan to get serious about a company I ran with friends. We sold it to Barry Diller's InterActiveCorp in 2006. I just wrapped up with a project I co-founded called Vimeo and left CV to focus on being a twenty-five year old.
